Frequently asked questions
Is the job board free for technologists?
Yes. Browsing and applying are free, and there is nothing to subscribe to. We never charge candidates, and we never will - a listing that asked you to pay to apply would not be allowed on the board.
How does applying work?
Each listing has an apply page on Expected Health. You enter your contact details, the credentials you hold, and a short summary; we store the application and email it to the employer's hiring contact. The employer replies to you directly. There is no separate account to create first.
Who sees my information?
Only the employer you applied to, and Expected Health staff who administer the board. We do not sell, share, or syndicate applications, and your profile is not searchable by other employers - a technologist job-hunting while employed should never be discoverable by their current employer.
Are the credentials on an application verified?
No. Everything you enter - ARRT ID, disciplines, expiry, state licenses - is self-reported, and it is labelled that way to employers. Employers check registrations themselves using the public verification tools run by ARRT, NMTCB, and ARDMS. Entering an accurate ID makes that check fast.
What do "remote" and "hybrid" mean on this board?
Remote means the job is performed entirely away from the imaging site - typically operating scanners through a vendor's remote platform, or supporting a teleradiology workflow - and the listing states which states you must live in, if any. Hybrid means a regular split between on-site and remote days. Anything that requires you at the site every shift is listed as on-site.
How do employers post a job?
Through the "Post a job" form on this site. Posting is free at launch. Every submission is reviewed by Expected Health before it is published, and an employer must be approved before any applicant details are released to them.
