Expected Health is building the digital infrastructure to connect patients, providers, and clinics more efficiently—
starting with fixing the broken referral process in healthcare. Our demand-gen marketplace combined with our AI-powered B2B platform streamlines workflows
for imaging centers, DME companies, and specialty clinics by eliminating faxes, automating order intake,
and accelerating patient care.

We’re a small, experienced team with deep healthcare and tech roots. With strong early traction and a big market
opportunity ahead, we’re looking for a self-starting, gritty sales pro to join us as our first sales hire.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Sales Lead who can start part-time and thrives in the hustle of outbound prospecting and is excited by the opportunity
to be first on the ground for a Stanford-founded AI company in healthcare and help build a sales function from scratch. You’ll be responsible for generating pipeline through cold outreach—calls,
emails, LinkedIn—and setting qualified meetings each week with imaging centers, DME companies, and clinics.

You’ll work closely with the CEO to refine the sales script and pitch; the founder will join most early sales calls.
Your job is to find the right people, spark their interest, and get you and the CEO in the room.

Currently, this is a commission and equity role to start. Ideal for someone who wants to work ~10 hours/week with a startup that could grow into something big.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target clinics using our ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Prospect via cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn DMs to generate interest
  • Book 10+ qualified meetings per week for you and the founder
  • Attend intro sales calls (optional but encouraged)
  • Track outreach and lead status in our CRM
  • Test and improve outreach scripts and cadences
  • Be willing to do what it takes to get in the door, including walking into clinics

Requirements

  • 2–5 years experience in software sales, preferably in healthcare or health tech
  • Confident cold caller and comfortable sending high-volume cold emails
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology (DME, imaging, referrals, etc.)
  • Self-starter mentality—comfortable operating independently without much structure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bonus: experience with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, or SalesLoft
